A Note from the Founder

Football has been a part of my life since class eight. It started off as something fun to do after school—but it quickly became more than that. It became the thing that kept me grounded. Some of my closest friendships began on a football field, and many of them are still going strong today.

The field was where I could clear my head, stay active, and be myself. That hasn’t changed. Even now, whenever I feel overwhelmed or stuck, I find my way back to the game. I book a match with friends, and somehow everything feels lighter after.

That connection to sport—how it builds community, helps you breathe, gives you space to just be—is what inspired me to launch Turf Enough Foundation.

We wanted to build the kind of place we didn’t have growing up: a reliable, affordable, high-quality facility where anyone could walk in, play, and feel welcome. It started with football, but it’s growing. We’ve added pickleball, we’ve hosted community tournaments, and we’ve opened our doors to people from all walks of life.

We’ve introduced women to sport through initiatives like Pink Hours, offered free playtime to police personnel, and created access for underprivileged kids who just want a place to play. We’ve seen corporate teams, gig workers, and students all share the same turf—and leave a little happier.

For me, Turf Enough isn’t just about the game. It’s about what the game makes possible.
